Contributed talks
Participants wishing to present a contributed talk should submit by e-mail an extended abstract (1-2 pages) written in LaTeX to Professor Panos Pardalos, pardalos@ufl.edu . Deadline for submission is December 1, 1999. Notification of acceptance will be given by December 20, 1999. Participants should register by May 5, 2000 for their talk to be included in the Conference program. The duration of each contributed talk is 20 minutes.
 
 
 
Registration
The Conference fee is 250 $ US for early registration (until March 31, 2000) and 300 $ US after this date or on site registration. The fee includes: admission to all sessions,  the Conference dinner, coffee breaks, an one-day excursion around the island and a copy of the proceedings when published.

Proceedings-Instructions
for authors
The Conference Proceedings will be published by Kluwer Academic Publishers, in the series Nonconvex Optimization and Applications. Participants who wish to submit their contribution for publication in the proceedings should follow the following instructions:
1. Papers should be written in LaTeX. Please use Kluwer's edbk.cls document class and prepare a bibtex file. The Kluwer style files can be downloaded by clicking here. The file kluwer-style.zip (228 KB) can be unzipped by winzip. UNIX users can unzip the file using the command
 unzip kluwer-style.zip
The files can also be downloaded one by one  by clicking here
2. Both the LaTeX source file and the dvi (or ps) file should be sent to the e-mail address of the Conference by July 15.
3. Papers should not exceed 12 pages.
